What you need to know

Important note: This quest can only be attempted after you have completed 3 other quests. The books must also be borrowed from the SIC or Auckland libraries with proof of loan.

 

As the SIC Reader’s Quest aims to encourage you to explore new genres, this quest is primarily designed to reward those of you who read fast and would like to continue exploring the quests you have already attempted. There are no limitations as to the type of books you need to read so you could mix genres, or read a mixture of fiction and non-fiction books.

 

To ensure that you are reading the books within the time specified, you need to make sure that you log in your reading plan with us. Your advertisement tasks also need to be completed by 5 weeks from the start of the first book.

Reader Profile

Totally unaware, Rapid Readers often get lost in their book worlds while time passes on in this world. Nothing can disrupt their maddening consumption of a book, not a growling stomach, nor a scolding mother, not even a power outage at the dead of night. They simply indulge in the reading experience, often favouring voluminous books and never ending series. Their speed reading ability makes them unstoppable book bulldozers, giving them that added advantage in any competitive culture.
